If you’re looking for a good quality winder, the wooden ball winder from KnitPro is what you’re looking for. It’s handcrafted from smooth beech wood and can wind up to 450g of fingering weight yarn.
An inbuilt mechanism reduces friction to allow the winder to rotate freely, making it quick and easy to wind up a smooth ball of yarn. There are rubber pads on the base to keep it in firmly in place as you work.
